This year, to celebrate six years of the HOW TO EAT YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE project, T.E.A has curated the HOW TO EAT YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE gift box. Full of edible and lip smacking Christmas tree goodies from the cookbook and artisanal makers, from Finland to Greece, who also make treats and delicious things using pine, spruce and fir.  Perfect as an environmentally conscious gift this festive season, this is a plastic free option and all packaging is reusable and VERY keepable.

This box includes

1 x of the ‘How to eat your Christmas tree’ cookbook, including an annual newsletter.

1 x Organic Retsina, Georgas Family, Greece - The Georgas family's herby and citrussy retsina is made using a combination of cold maceration and wild yeast fermentation with fresh local pine resin. This medium body, yellow-amber white wine has noticeable aromas of pine, with well integrated tannins and acidity on a textured palate.  (Grapes - 100% Savatiano. 2020 Vintage 13% ABV, 270 ml)

2 x Nollaig Spruce Ale, Williams Bros Brewing, Scotland - Full hopped, sweet and resinous winter ale made from hand picked sprigs of spruce. (7% Alc, 330 ml)

2 x Alba Scots Pine Ale, Williams Bros Brewing, Scotland - popular during Viking times, this pine ale is a 'triple' style, traditional Highlands recipe made from handmade sprigs of spruce and pine. (7.5% Alc, 330 ml)

1 x Christmas tree pickles, The Edible Archive - Carrot and cucumber ribbons pickled in apple cider vinegar, fir and juniper. Arrives in a reusable, Le Parfait terrine jar. (275 ml)

1 x Christmas tree and apple chutney, The Edible Archive - perfect as a cheese accompaniment made using fir and green, zesty apples. Arrives in a reusable, Le Parfait terrine jar. (275 ml)

4 x Double chocolate, toasted pine nut cookies, The Edible Archive - a variation on a favourite from the book. Arrives in Le Baronet balsa wood, reusable baking moulds and wrapped in washable, reusable beeswax squares, a useful alternative to clingfilm.

1 x jar of Kerkka spruce sprout powder, Arctic Warriors, Finland - A luxurious superfood powder from Nordic forests, useful for cooking, baking and smoothies. Smells amazing and is great to use in place of the Christmas tree ash in the 'How to eat your Christmas tree' cookbook. (40 g)

1 x Forest Defence herbal tea, Metta Nordic, Finland - For that extra burst of Vitamin C, this loose leafed tea made of spruce sprouts, ginger blackcurrant leaf is just what you need for dark winter days. Also a useful herb for smoothie making or in cooking. (25 g)

UK only, available for delivery after the 7th December, on purchase, I'll be in touch with you directly to organise delivery so that everything stays as fresh as possible.  Suitable for vegetarians, but does contain egg, gluten, nuts and may contain traces of milk.
