How to eat your Cactus

'How to eat your Cactus' is a supper club and research project exploring the dystopian, gastronomic future of desertification and rising sea levels. What will we be eating when the world heats up, fertile land becomes arid and the seashore creeps up on us? The answer? Cacti and succulents of course! These hardy plants are well versed in dealing with adverse climates and either too much or too little water - many are packed full of nutrients and, if you know how to cook with them, they are also delicious!

After a first run of the supper club in 2018, this dinner event will be relaunched in 2022. In the meantime, whilst you're waiting to munch on our prickly pals, you can read two research articles written by T.E.A about the project for Plant Fever Journal - 'Why we should eat our Cactus...' and 'How to eat your Cactus...'
